A Combifloat C-5 spudwell set is currently being utilised by Eberhard Bau from Switzerland on a bridge maintenance project in the city centre of Zurich.

The system has been assembled on client-owned pontoons and is powered by an electric hydraulic power unit (e-HPU), helping to minimise environmental impact in a sensitive urban setting.

Due to strict bridge width constraints, the project required a rare narrow configuration. The layout enables maintenance works underneath the bridge and along adjacent quay walls, while at the same time maintaining sufficient clearance for vessel traffic to continue passing through the fairway.
