Australian Barge Hire supplied Sea Lift 3 to support geotechnical investigations associated with the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal project at the Port of Hastings.

The jack-up platform allowed personnel and testing equipment to operate from a stable, fixed position over the water throughout the investigation works.
Sea Lift 3’s primary function was to provide a stable working platform for soil testing and geotechnical investigations. These investigations gathered important ground condition data to help inform the planning and development of the proposed port expansion and Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal.
