Ideal for heavy construction works
The Combifloat C-9 Self-Elevating Platform is the largest ‘series build’ modular jack-up barge in the world. This platform consists of standard floating modules coupled through our proven male/female pin connection system, allowing for adaptable overall dimensions to meet customer needs.
Supported by four 75” diameter spud legs, each operated by four synchronized hydraulic cylinders mounted in heavy-duty spudwells, the C-9 platform ensures stability and efficiency. Each spudwell has a capacity of 600 tons, and the spuds are delivered with two bolted spud joints, separating the spud into three parts for ease of transportation. The pontoons have an unparalleled deckstrength of 20mT/m2.
With a deck load capacity of up to 1,000 tons and a deck space of 900 m², the C-9 platform is built to handle large-scale operations with ease. The hydraulic jacking system ensures safe and efficient lifting and lowering of the platform, operated from a central control system with complete remote PLC control.
The C-9 platform is designed for ease of transport by road, train, or ship, making it highly versatile for various locations. It is eminently suitable for construction works such as jetties, breakwaters, and various oil & gas related applications.
The C-9 is delivered with IACS class notation. Combifloat’s C-9 Self-Elevating Platform is designed to provide maximum uptime and reliability for your marine construction needs, supported by our strategic stock locations and exceptional service.
Combifloat has also completed its monohull concept. Rather than using modular elements to form the hull or floating body of the jack-up barge, a single unit (monohull) is used.
The C-9 series modular pontoons have proven to be very successful in a wide variety of self-elevating and floating applications. As the pontoons are designed and dimensioned for easy handling, they can be easily applied in diverse and remote locations, which are inaccessible to conventional equipment. The Combifloat pontoons offer full customization and can be equipped with many attachments and accessories specifically needed to successfully execute projects.
