Recently Combifloat was requested to perform repair and supervisory services for a long-standing client in the Baltic area on a C7 modular jack up platform. This self-elevating platform is used by a large civil contractor for marine construction works and has been deployed on a variety of projects in the region already.

C725 jack up in Bangladesh

The C725 modular jack up witnessed the arrival of the monsoon in Bangladesh. The pictures definitely look spectacular although this was well within the limits of the unit. Combifloat always runs project specific scenario’s including situations like these.

That is where Combifloat’s engineering support creates significant value to projects and operators. This way workability is maximized, given the project specific conditions.

The self elevating platform will remain in Bangladesh until the end of the year.

C7 holding spud barge available in Le Havre, France soon

Recently a Combifloat modular holding spud barge was mobilized by road to Le Havre in France. The barge is currently in use by one of the largest French civil contractors.

The unit measures 24 x 15 meter, with three holding spudswell fitting 18 meter spud legs. The works is expected to be completed early August and hence is available thereafter.
