Combifloat’s business model encompasses both rental and sales of modular floating and self-elevating platforms, providing flexible solutions to meet diverse project needs. This brings specific obligations. Under a bareboat rental contract, clients are obligated to take full possession and control of the platform, including operating and maintaining it throughout the rental period. This arrangement ensures that clients have the autonomy to manage their projects while adhering to Combifloat’s high standards of safety and efficiency.
Clients operating Combifloat’s modular floating and self-elevating platforms must meet specific training requirements to ensure safe and efficient operations. These requirements include a thorough understanding of the platform’s design, operational procedures, and safety protocols. Clients need to be proficient in the assembly and disassembly of the modular system, the operation of the jacking system, and the implementation of safety measures. Additionally, knowledge of environmental conditions and their impact on platform stability is crucial. Combifloat provides detailed operating manuals and project-related data books to support clients in acquiring this knowledge.
To address these training needs, Combifloat offers on-the-job training by deploying experienced jacking engineers to Client’s sites. These engineers, who are also skilled barge masters, provide hands-on training tailored to the specific project requirements. They guide Client’s personnel through the practical aspects of operating the jacking system, ensuring that the platform is correctly positioned and maintained throughout the project. This on-site training includes real-time problem-solving and adjustments, allowing Clients to gain practical experience under the supervision of experts.
Combifloat’s jacking engineers also perform daily maintenance routines and provide continuous support during the project. This ensures that any issues are promptly addressed, and the platform operates at optimal performance. By offering this level of support, Combifloat helps Clients build confidence and competence in managing their platforms, ultimately leading to safer and more efficient operations. This approach not only enhances the Client’s operational capabilities but also fosters a collaborative and in-depth relationship, ensuring that Clients’ and Combifloat’s high standards of safety and efficiency are maintained across all projects.
The Combifloat pontoons offer full customization and can be equipped with many attachments and accessories specifically needed to successfully execute projects. The C-5 series are often used for geotechnical services and inland marine construction works and offer a 15 T/m2 deck strength just like the C-7 and C-9.5 series. All C-5 series components are fully IACS compliant and delivered with individual test certificates.
With highly qualified and specialized in-house engineers, Combifloat offers various engineering services to guide and support clients on operational and environmental matters.
