Combifloat is committed to ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of its modular floating and self-elevating platforms through comprehensive maintenance services. Throughout the asset’s lifecycle, we provide a range of maintenance solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. This includes regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and the provision of spare parts and critical components on site or in your yards worldwide. Our proactive approach helps to identify potential issues before they become significant problems, thereby reducing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency. For example, we have supported clients operating in remote locations by facilitating the supply of bespoke spare part packages, ensuring that they have the necessary components to maintain their platforms effectively.
Over the years, Combifloat has assisted numerous clients with varying maintenance requirements. In one instance, we provided extensive support to a client in the Middle East, ensuring the continuous operation of their platform through regular inspections and timely repairs. Another example involves our collaboration with Veritas Marine [link] in Kazakhstan, where we delivered a C-7 unit and provided specialised training to their crews on its operation and maintenance. This hands-on support ensured that the platform was ready for deployment in the challenging conditions of the North Caspian Sea. Additionally, we have worked closely with clients in the Netherlands, offering operational lifetime support and inspections to maintain the high standards of safety and efficiency expected from Combifloat platforms.
Combifloat has also undertaken significant overhauls to extend the operational life of its units. One notable project involved the complete refurbishment of a C-7 series platform for a client in the America’s. This major overhaul included the replacement of critical jacking system components, structural reinforcements, and the installation of new safety features. The project was completed on time and within budget, ensuring that the platform could continue to operate safely and efficiently for many more years.
The Combifloat pontoons offer full customization and can be equipped with many attachments and accessories specifically needed to successfully execute projects. The C-5 series are often used for geotechnical services and inland marine construction works and offer a 15 T/m2 deck strength just like the C-7 and C-9.5 series. All C-5 series components are fully IACS compliant and delivered with individual test certificates.
With highly qualified and specialized in-house engineers, Combifloat offers various engineering services to guide and support clients on operational and environmental matters.
